  1. Take 300ml of water and add salt, oil and penne pasta, boil till the pasta is cooked. Empty the boiled pasta to a bowl and add oil and salt and give it a mix so that they do not stick to each other.
  2. Now take a wide pan add oil to it, add jeera, 1 chopped onion and fry till the onion turns translucent, add ginger and garlic paste, saute it till the raw smell goes off. Next add tomatoes and cashews and cook until the tomatoes become mushy. Transfer the cooked ingredients to a bowl and allow it to cool. Then grind to a fine paste.
  3. Take a pan and add 2 cubes of butter and add 1 tbsp of maida and mix it well. Once the maida blends with the butter add 2 cups of milk and give a quick stir until it thickens to a sauce texture without any lumps. Now add onion&tomato puree to this and salt as per taste, mix them well. Next add chopped capsicum, oregano, red chilli powder, coriander powder and allow it to cook for 5 mins. Then add the cooked pasta to the sauce and allow it to cook for another 5 to 7 mins with the lid closed.
  4. Add kauri Methi in the end and mix it well.Pasta in Makhani sauce is now ready to be served. Can be served with Garlic bread.
