Rice and dal cooked together in the Instant Pot using the the pot-in-pot method. white basmati rice and toor/moong/masoor dal - they can cook together at the same time and you can do PIP with them.   3. Now blend toor dal with blender and add Jaggery, turmeric powder red chilli powder, coriander powder and chopped green chilli, chopped tomato and lemon juice, fresh coriander simmer it for 10 minutes.
  4. Now heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asofotadia and make tadka on toor dal. Our toor dal is ready.
